Robb, administrator of the estate of George H Warfield, deceased, was charged with depositing large sums and using them in business for his own gain. Def. Beaumont was president of said bank, and charged with full knowledge and collaboration in this. In 1875 Robb became insolvent and indebted to the estate of Warfield for $20,000. 1883 James M. Ferguson v. M.C. Goodlett Montgomery Error in Proceedings In the original suit, Ferguson bought land from his grandfather's estate. When his grandfather died he claimed that land. Goodlett also claimed the land because Ferguson had not paid his debt to him. 1882 Henry Meurer v. F. Wolf and wife Montgomery Breach of Trust Additional Defendant: Frederica Wolf. Henry Meurer trusted to his wife about $875.00 for safe keeping in 1875. At the time, his house was a public resort and his wife, possibly believing the house unsafe, deposited a large part of the money with Frederick Wolf and his wife with the understanding to keep the money safely and that it would be returned upon demand.
