The bill claimed that the plaintiff purchased cattle from Isham Haston and, being old and of poor eye sight, accidentally paid him with a $1,000 bill instead of a $100 dollar bill, requiring $900 in return. Isham then paid this bill to his sister, Mrs. Holloway, who with her husband proceeded to hide the discrepancy by loaning money to others. | Middle |
