1885 George R. Browder et al.v. J. M. Robb & S. F. Beaumont Montgomery Estate Dispute Plaintiff et al: Thomas E. Browder, George W. Warfield, Elizabeth Warfield & Pack G. Johnson. Def. Robb, administrator of the estate of George H Warfield, deceased, was charged with depositing large sums and using them in business for his own gain. Def. Beaumont was president of said bank, and charged with full knowledge and collaboration in this. In 1875 Robb became insolvent and indebted to the estate of Warfield for $20,000. 1883 James M. Ferguson v. M.C. Goodlett Montgomery Error in Proceedings In the original suit, Ferguson bought land from his grandfather's estate. When his grandfather died he claimed that land. Goodlett also claimed the land because Ferguson had not paid his debt to him.
